![]() | Phil Birchall Phil Birchall is Healthcare Business Development Director for the Northern European region based out of the UK. Phil is leading the effort to establish InterSystems as a more active participant in the healthcare vertical – focusing on new business development, strategic alliances and direct engagement with the healthcare user community. Since joining InterSystems in 1994, Phil has held a number of sales management positions, and was European Sales Director until 2001.

![]() | Paul Grabscheid Since 1986, Paul Grabscheid has used his expertise in database and application development tools and technologies in a variety of product planning and marketing roles at InterSystems. Prior to that, he served as director of marketing for Mathematica, a database and 4GL software company, helping to expand the company's worldwide presence. When the company was acquired by Martin Marietta he served as director of marketing for that firm's Information Technology Division, overseeing marketing efforts for a number of system software, application software, and computer services product lines.

![]() | Rich Harris Rich Harris is the Senior Systems Manager at SmartWater Technology Ltd having joined in August 2004. He has managed the evolution of the company quality, information security and business continuity management systems. He has worked across the SmartWater Technical Services department and been involved in the development and integration of IT systems and implementation of specialised production equipment.

Robert Hickingbotham Robert joined InterSystems in 2008 as a sales engineer, across the telecoms and healthcare sectors, primarily focussed upon Caché, Ensemble, DeepSee. An accomplished software developer with over 20 years technical experience spanning C++,.Net, C#, J2EE,XML, COBOL and Assembly Language, Robert deals with pre and post sales technical consulting for a number of Acute and Primary Care Trusts as well as clients across the telecoms sector.

Kerry Kirkham Kerry is a sales engineer at InterSystems and manages a number of key accounts across the healthcare, telecoms and government sectors, including Nortel, Grapevine Solutions, St. Vincent’s and Mater Hospital in Dublin and DIS, across Ireland. Kerry has extensive knowledge of Healthcare applications in the US, UK and Ireland. Since joining InterSystems in 2000, he has gained experience in a variety of countries, namely spending over three years in Houston, USA and Dublin, Ireland. Kerry works mainly with Caché, Ensemble and DeepSee and was instrumental in the replacement of Nortel’s Contact Center database with Caché, helping the company to evaluate their existing needs and to match this with their future progression. | |

![]() | Vik Nagjee Vik Nagjee is the Product Manager for Core Technologies in the Systems Development group at InterSystems. He is responsible for the areas of Reliability, Availability, Scalability, and Performance for InterSystems’ core products – Caché, Ensemble, and HealthShare. Prior to joining InterSystems in 2008, Nagjee held several positions, including Security Architect, Development Lead, and head of the performance & scalability group, at Epic Systems Corporation, a leading healthcare application vendor in the US. |
![]() | Robert Nagle Robert Nagle directs systems software activities at InterSystems. Prior to joining the company, he spent five years doing research at Harvard University in molecular modeling and high performance computing.

![]() | Louise Parberry Louise Parberry is a Sales Engineer and has been working for InterSystems for 8 years. Previously she worked for Micronetics in a similar role and in the retail sector as an application programmer. She spent many years in the fields of scientific computing and numerical analysis. Her particular areas of specialisation include object and web development, incorporating CSP, XML, SVG and bitmap indexing. On the application side she is regularly involved in MSM and relational database conversions. |
![]() | Kerry Stratton Before joining InterSystems, Stratton was Chief Executive of TrakHealth, a recognized healthcare technology innovator. He founded TrakHealth in 1991 and led the company to leadership in providing advanced, fully integrated hospital information systems to more than 300 healthcare organizations in 20 countries. Stratton’s background also includes serving as Managing Director at Hoyden-Spike, an Australian provider of healthcare and transportation application and as Director of Détente Systems, a provider of laboratory, radiology and other clinical systems that has been acquired by Reston, VA-based QuadraMed Corp. He also worked as IT Director for P&O, a leading shipping firm in the UK and began his career as a medical scientist for Pathology and Allied Services, one of the largest medical testing laboratories in Sydney, Australia.

Gary Wilson Gary is a sales engineer at InterSystems, covering Scotland and the North of England. With significant experience in software, and strong skills in domain driven design, enterprise architecture and agile development, Gary supports pre and post sales of core InterSystems technology, including proof of concept, across the healthcare and finance sectors. One of Gary’s core clients is the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, where he promotes excellence in the use of InterSystems technology.
